About Me
Hi, I'm Jamie! I'm a Dallas-based UX and product designer with 3+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. With a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, and previous roles as a Claims Analyst and an Experience Advocate, I bring a unique perspective to the table. My background has helped drive my ability to create user- and data-driven design solutions.
My motivation for pursuing user experience design is deeply rooted in my personal experience being a caretaker for my blind father. This experience gave me a profound understanding of the challenges faced by those with disabilities and the crucial role accessibility plays in design. As an empath, I aspire to create and share inclusive, intention, and impactful interactions that empowers others.
Outside of designing, you'll find me trying new cuisines, writing random words in modern calligraphy, starting crochet projects that take way too long to complete, practicing my bowling form, and climbing the ranks in video games.
